Short description of the project: City of Oslo develops valuable partnerships with Romanian public institutions as Local Council of Timișoara – Social Work Department and City of Craiova and work together in piloting common interventions. 

This is a preparatory project for the next financing period. The aim is, through the work being done within this project, by strengthening relations and cooperation with local actors and by identifying the needs of Roma people, to develop a fully customized project to offer integrated services for social inclusion.

Results and impact:

• Establish bilateral relations with relevant municipalities and NGO’s in Romania.

• Strengthening the bilateral relation between the partners

• Establish a project description for a main project to improve municipal governance and service delivery.

• Prepare a main project for the next financial period of the Grants.

• Social inclusion of vulnerable groups, especially Roma
